It’s Warm Outside!
A Winter Retreat To Scottsdale, Arizona by Tracy Phillips, Arizona Tourism Center
While most of the nation is battling freezing temperatures
and shoveling snow, Scottsdale Arizona is basking in
sunshine and experiencing warm temperatures hovering between
the mid sixties to the mid seventies. Perfect weather for
all the great outdoor activities (yes, shopping is one of
them!) that Scottsdale offers: golf, desert tours, Hot Air
Balloon rides and more. So shake off those winter blues and
come to Scottsdale!
Now, where to stay… Scottsdale is home to many fabulous
resorts, one of which is The Scottsdale Links Resort.
Located on the famous TPC golf course, this resort is great
for families, but is also perfect for a romantic getaway.
This all-suite resort offers: heated pool, hot tub, fitness
center, grill areas, on-site activities and personal
Concierge service. One bedroom suites feature: private
patio or balcony, full kitchen, washer/dryer and sleep four
comfortably. These suites really are a home away from home
and with a full kitchen, one has the option of dining in
room. Also, The Links has two and three bedroom suites
available, perfect for a guys golf weekend, girlfriend
getaway or the larger family. And of course, the resort is
close to all the golf, spas, shopping and dining that has
made Scottsdale such a vacation destination.
Other than simply enjoying the warm weather, there is so
much to do in Scottsdale. Of course Scottsdale is famous
for its golf courses and winter is a great time to get out
and play. And don’t forget, Scottsdale has more spas per
capita than any other city in the United States. Also, with
all those great shops & restaurants one could fill a week
just eating and spending! Looking for something a little
more rugged? Scottsdale is surrounded by the beautiful
Sonoran Desert and offers a myriad of ways to explore it:
horseback, ATV, Hummer or Hot Air Balloon. The Valley of
the Sun also offers plenty of great museums, a zoo and an
aquarium. Or just lay by the pool and get a winter tan that
will make one’s friends green with envy.

Our Mission: "Big Blend Magazine is a company based on the belief that education is the most formidable weapon that can be waged against fear, ignorance and prejudice.
It is our belief that education starts at
home and branches outward. Education leads to travel, and
travel leads to understanding, tolerance, and appreciation
of cultures and customs different to our own, and ultimately
to world peace. Our company is further based on the
principle that networking, communication, and helping others
to promote and market themselves leads to financial
stability; thus paving the way to better education, travel,
and the spirit of giving back to the community."
