Tomgirl Tours offers all-inclusive boutique travel experiences that blend new and interesting adventures, savory culinary encounters and fresh-air exploration with small doses of shopping, pampering and the finer things - all tailored exclusively for women. Each tour offers women the rare opportunity to truly unwind, rejuvenate and let someone else
run the show for a change.

Tomgirl Tours was founded by Lori Carr, who turned vacations into a vocation by combining a childhood love of outdoor adventure, a lifetime passion for travel and a strong business background to form this unique travel firm.

Lori is a self-proclaimed, ultimate “tomgirl”, who grew up on a farm in New England as the quintessential tomboy. With five older brothers and two sisters, she spent summers swimming and fishing in the creeks that flowed through the woods and endless hours exploring fish hatcheries near her family’s farm. She helped plant crops, raced around the farm on mini-bikes and honed her skills as an excellent “marks girl”. In winter, she skated along those creeks, climbed snow-covered birch trees, slipped down snowy hills on flexible flyers and glided on skis across the ponds and fields.

Lori spent 25 years as an executive leading customer service, business operations and sales organizations for medium and large corporations. She spent decades evaluating and resolving some of the most demanding service challenges for customers on a regular basis, taking near impossible, perplexing customer challenges and working to create solutions that worked for everyone. Today, Lori uses those skills to make each tour a truly worry-free excursion. That brand of customer service know-how, combined with her own passion for every destination and adventure, allows Lori to provide a unique, personalized and memorable experience for each Tomgirl Tours traveler.
