About Ventura, California
Known as San Buenaventura, the "city of good fortune", Ventura is a pleasant mix of a small coastal town, history, shopping, wineries, dining and fun.

The waterfront district and beaches are the shining jewel in Ventura's crown. Stretching from Seaside Park to Ventura Harbor, the area's beachfront includes surf breaks, a historic pier and promenade, San Buenaventura State Beach, the Seaward Avenue Beach District, several parks, miles of scenic bike paths, and a thriving marina.

Ventura Harbor Village is the heart of coastal Ventura County. You can book cruises through the harbor or to the Channel Islands, take sailing lessons, rent a peddle boat or kayak, or simply enjoy a few hours by the sea.

The 36-horse carousel and arcade games are sure to delight the kids, and the whole family will enjoy the art galleries, specialty shops, café bakery, ice cream parlor and restaurants serving the freshest locally caught seafood. Special weekend events at Harbor Village include, weekend concerts and other scheduled events.

Ventura really has something for everyone....an ideal romantic getaway, a nature lovers paradise, and the perfect family vacation spot.

Our Mission: Our Mission: "Big Blend Magazine is a company based on the belief that education is the most formidable weapon that can be waged against fear, ignorance and prejudice.
It is our belief that education starts at home and branches outward. Education leads to travel, and travel leads to understanding, tolerance, and appreciation of cultures and customs different to our own, and ultimately to world peace. Our company is further based on the principle that networking, communication, and helping others to promote and market themselves leads to financial stability; thus paving the way to better education, travel, and the spirit of giving back to the community."
